around Lodat castle		Orlu national reserve

Around Lordat castle     Easy All the year except July and August Altitude from 700 m to 900m Departure and arrived at Unac - excursion in loop Circuit for a day or a half-day The way curves between the dry stone walls which support the meadows in terrace, on the sunny side of the Ariège valley . This excursion in loop, crosses three villages decorated with charming Romanesque churches and passes by Lordat whose castle, perched on a headland shelters the “Flying of the Eagles”. One charming descent brings back for you towards the Ariège-valley  from where you go up then towards Unac.

Orlu national reserve    Very easy from July 1 until August 31 and weekends of June and September if the weather is favorable Altitude;: from 1100 m to 1500m Departure and arrived at the entry of the reserve only for one (or more) day. No possibility for half-day   The dogs are prohibited in the reserve. Famous for the great variety of its wild fauna, Orlu National Reserve   constitutes a privileged site to study and observe the isards and marmots. Our asses await  you at the entry of the reserve. While following a large path, this walk will take you along, in less than 2 hours to Pla d'En Gaudu. You're there in high mountain. The brook runs in bottom of valley. Stop a long moment. Here you observe isards, marmots, trouts, large raptors and many species of flowers. The return is done by the same way.
